Just a compilation of a couple Christmas movies… For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. Christmas- The Biggest Celebration Around The World

Christmas is the largest celebration around the world each year. Other holidays get a single day, but Christmas is emphasized for an entire month, one twelfth of every year. During the Christmas season, billions of people set aside their normal routines to decorate their homes, send out greeting cards, buy gifts, go to Christmas parities, attend church services, sing Christmas songs, watch Christmas TV specials, and travel long distances to be with their families. Christmas sights and sounds fill the air everywhere. There are stores, and even careers, that are exclusively dedicated to preparing for and celebrating this holiday. When Christmas comes, you can’t miss it. It’s everywhere.

If you stop to think about it, it is astounding that the simple, unassuming birth of a peasant boy born two thousand years ago in the Middle East has caused such commotion-his birthday even causes traffic jams today in places like New York City, Tokyo, and Rio de Janeiro. The Bible gives us the original Christmas story.

There were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”

Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests.”

Regardless of your background, religion, or circumstances, Christmas really becomes a holiday which celebrated all around the world, and it influenced the economy and culture of these countries, China is one of these countries. In this paper, the author will analyze both the positive and the negative influences of Christmas on China’s economy and culture. And arguing about the positive attitude we should have toward Christmas.

Discover the Magic of the Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade

Christmas morning is a magical time, but what happens after the presents have been opened? For many families, the answer is both easy and a tradition: watch the Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade!

ABC airs the parade each Christmas morning and the show takes place in the Magic Kingdom for the most part, although there are clips from the other Disney theme parks. Many loved and recognizable Disney characters take part in the parade, including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Donald Duck, Pluto and more. The enchanting characters you love and their floats head right down Main Street, USA. The parade also features an array of celebrities, marching bands from schools across the country and musical performances.

In the past, celebrity hosts for the parade have included Nick Cannon, Kelly Ripa, Regis Philbin and Ryan Seacrest. The musical performers over the last few years have all been extremely popular with lots of star power. They’ve included Miley Cyrus, the Jonas Brothers, Kris Allen, Celine Dionand Corbin Bleu, who debuted a new song during the special in 2008. The show has featured other celebrity performers as well, such as the cast of “Dancing with the Stars.”

All the stops are pulled out for this magical and captivating parade through the Disney parks. The hosts dress up and show off their yuletide cheer, while beloved Disney characters interact with fans through out the event, hugging and spreading merriment wherever they go. The holiday decor is unmatched, with presents, lights, huge ornaments and a feeling of the Christmas spirit settling over the entire production. Tin soldiers and elves march down the street to holiday music, and Christmas trees can be found around every corner and on almost every float. During this adored and festive event, carols are sung and dancing is rampant.

The special also allows the many fans of the Disney theme parks to remember the magic; getting a glimpse of Cinderella’s Castle and other well-known park locations.
This is an Emmy award-winning, entertaining holiday production that touches the hearts of viewers each year. The annual parade has aired each year since 1982, with the notable exception of the year 2000, when the Disney special “Tracking Santa” ran on Christmas Eve, instead.

Pre-registration for tickets to be in the audience during the taping of the Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade is usually announced in late October, and quickly sell out. No one wants to miss this magical event! The actual filming tends to take place over two to three days in early December.

Keep an eye on the Disney news outlets for the 2010 ticket announcement this fall if you and your loved ones want to be part of this special Christmas spectacular. Whether you’re one of the lucky few to get tickets or not, be sure to tune in Christmas morning for this heart-warming holiday event. The star power and Christmas cheer are sure to help you, and the whole family, get into the spirit of the season.
