What to wear to my boyfriends company Christmas party at a country club? (Clothes and makeup please)?

I’m 21 and going to my boyfriends company Christmas party at a country club in two weeks.
He just graduated from law school and is working at a law firm. All the people at the party will be lawyers from the firm and legal assistants and whatnot. I will probably be the youngest person there and have never met any of these people before so I’m really nervous.

I’m wondering what’s appropriate to wear to a Christmas party at a country club and how I should do my makeup.

Thank you!

Corporations – It May Be Time To Book Your Place at a Shared Christmas Party

Although it is still summer and not yet even autumn, you should still be thinking ahead to Christmas time. Around this time, there’s so much to organise, including the office Christmas party on top of everything else. Prepare well in advance for the busiest season of the year and you will end up feeling not quite as stressed, as well as have a decent Christmas party to look forward to.

Shared Christmas party planners often start planning pretty much as soon as they have finished their last Christmas party. By February, they already have the basic components of the party in place – and by June the whole shebang has been organised.

By the end of August, most businesses have thought through their Christmas party ideas. Those going for the exclusive and bespoke Christmas parties will have contacted party planners in advance, around early summer so that they have plenty of time to organise a fantastic Christmas party, whilst those who prefer the shared party option will have up to mid-autumn to buy their tickets. However, buying last minute can cause a number of issues, which are no fun to deal with, including:

-The party you and your corporation wanted to go to is sold out and you end up at a Christmas party that is not as appropriate,

-There are not enough seats for everyone you initially invited, meaning you have to cut back the invitation list, and

-You could end up paying more for a last minute Christmas party.

This all can be avoided by booking early. Booking early also means your corporation has more options on what shared Christmas party to attend, as well as something to look forward to at the end of the year. Having an event to look forward to at the end of the year, may also boost morale and improve work ethic and efficiency among your staff.
