Got my wife a Wii game center for Christmas. What are some good games?
They are so expensive so I’d like to hear about some of the games before we buy any. We like simple games mostly.
Which is the best Mario game? Is it like the old Nintendo Mario Bros?

You can download a lot of classic Mario games and old nintendo games right to your Wiii. Just go to the Wii store (only works if you have high speed internet)
The game that comes with it is really fun, and the wii sports game comes with an extra controller so you will have two.
My favorite game is the game that comes with the Wii, the bowling is really fun.
My favorite game is carnival golf. It is mini golf but on a whole new level! I also like the wii fit but it is a little expensive and another favorite of my families is mario sluggers. Mario party 8 gets played alot too!
That is great that you got your wife a Wii! I have one. I got one for my birthday. (In September).
I have a couple games. I have Wii Fit, Agatha Christy, and Carnival Games.
Wii Fit is hard to find, and expensive, but it helps mantain your weight and it is very refreshing.
Agatha Christy is for the mysterious side of your wife. It’s about a murder and the player has to find out who did it. (Based on the book.)
Carnival games is like whack a mole etc. LOL. Not that much fun.
Wii Fit. I know what you’re thinking, it’s for people wanting to lose weight, right? Wrong! It has loads of mini games that all can be played with your feet, from skiing to running in place for a pretend marathon. The game also helps with your center of balance. Anybody could love it.
I love Mario Kart!

I’d suggest the following-
Super Mario Galaxy – It’s starring Mario, but this game has some serious changes from it’s NES roots. Full 3D, amazing music, and level design that is downright BRILLIANT, make this a must-own.
Boom Blox – This is a hard one to describe. A series of mindbending puzzles, revolving around virtual blocks, and a physics engine. Excellent multiplayer, plus a cool level editor.
World of Goo – Available over the Wii Shop Channel (you’ll need WiFi to access it) for 15 dollars, this unique puzzle-adventure title is all about balls of black goo, and your mission to transport them to safety to a pipe at the end of the level. Connect the balls to form structures, uilt bridges, and more. Bizzare, but a must-play.
The only Mario game on Wii that is like the old ones if Super Mario Galaxy. Some of the stages are pretty normal Mario platforming, but some of the others take it to another level, making you run and hop around on asteroids, getting pulled around by their gravity when you jump between them. It’s pretty good.
I also recommend Wii Play. It’s a collection of 9 minigames and a Wiimote for only $10 more than a Wiimote. So if you want a second controller, it’s a good deal.
And after that, you’ll want a second Nunchuk, since most games require a Wiimote and a Nunchuk for each player.
Also, I’d say you should get Trauma Center: New Blood. It’s a puzzle game disguised as a surgery simulator, and can be played co-op.
