I couldn’t resist these Tattoo City Rainboots for my niece to take back to college with her. Dawn’s mother didn’t want me to get them for her, but I just knew she would like them. And I was right!

My niece has a great sense of humor and likes the Goth Girl look on occasion. She wears a lot of black and likes tattoos, skulls, hearts and all the images on these sturdy boots.

We haven’t had a lot of rain this year, but it rained last week and she wore them to De Anza College and was the talk of her class. A real attention-getter! How cool is that?

In addition to the aesthetic appeal, I knew I couldn’t go wrong with a name like CHOOKA. The quality is great and Dawn tells me they’re very comfortable. The exterior and sole are 100-percent natural rubber and they have a moisture-absorbing knit cotton lining.

Function, fashion, and comfort! What could be better?

Love the look, but they’re not totally great for walking. Hard to pinpoint why exactly.. seems like the general shape of the foot/ankle portion is a bit odd so it doesn’t bend enough for walking.

These boots are great! I thought that they would be heavy, but they are actually not too bad. People compliment me all the time on them, and they look great with a skinny pair of jeans. I have not noticed the smell that another reviewer mentioned, much to my pleasant surprise. My one gripe, if you want to call it that, is that they’re terrible for driving, as the material around the ankle doesn’t really bend enough and can leave you with sore feet. Other then that, they are comfortable, stylish, and worth every last penny!

The first time i wore these boots everyone complimented them! They are awesome! They would have been 5 stars but they smell awful – i felt like i was working in a Les Schwab or National Tire and Battery. The smell has started to fad and all the compliments i get make them well worth the price paid and the smell they come with.

These are very stylish & practical rain boots with an ed hardy-esque look to them. They do run small so I would get the next size or half size up – glad I did! Hard to find – I looked everywhere for boots like this before I found these here on amazon!
