I love watching Christmas movies when it starts getting closer to Christmas. So I hope this helps. Also I noticed at Walmart last night there is a section of Christmas movies so that might be helpful also. Our local video rental stores also get holiday movies together when it gets closer. Well have a Happy Thanksgiving and enjoy!
1.)The Original Christmas Classics (2007)
With the combination of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town, and Frosty the Snowman (plus more); this is the ultimate DVD to have in your Holiday season movie arsenal. No Holiday season is complete without watching these timeless Holiday classics.
2.)The Polar Express (2004)
You’re in for a great ride (pun intended) with the Polar Express. Tom Hanks delivers a great Holiday experience that the entire family can enjoy. You’ll be amazed by the realistic 3D animation, songs, and great story that shows us the importance of having Holiday spirit.
3.)How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000)
Jim Carrey brings a Dr. Seuss Classic to life. Funny, frightening, and inspiring; this is one that will keep the family up when things start to wind down.
4.)Home Alone (1990)
This movie made Macaulay Culkin a household name. Home Alone shows a child living the dream of all children; a house all to himself, where he makes all of the rules. This movie shows us how important our family is and to not take each other for granted.
5.)A Christmas Story (1983)
Weird but still a classic. This movie taught me to never lick a pole in the winter (or any time, for that matter) and that no matter how weird your family is, it’s your family and you should stick together.
6.)Fred Clause (2007)
Vince Vaughn plays Fred Clause, the less successful brother of Santa Clause. This is definitely a movie about loving your family and it teaches us that our actions can affect and harm other people if we aren’t careful.
7.)Elf (2003)
There’s a kid in us all. Will Ferrell plays a human that grew up as an elf on the North Pole. He doesn’t really fit in the human or elf world but he helps to bring both races together to save Christmas.
8.)Scrooge (1970)
Bahumbug! Ebenezer Scrooge is a man of great wealth but little heart. He loathes Christmas and tries to ruin it for everyone until he’s made to face the true holiday spirit(s) and make things right.
9.)The Santa Clause (1994)
This movie starts off tragic but is saved by Tim Allen as he plays a man that must take the occupation of Santa Clause. His life is in ruins, his heart is in the right place and with the help of his son he makes the Holidays whole again.
10.) Babes in Toyland (1986)
Reminiscent of The Wizard of Oz this adventurous Holiday tale will have the family in suspense and delivers a nice addition to your holiday viewing.
There are several popular Christmas movies that have become timeless classics. Some of them are as follows:
1. Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer is one of the most popular Christmas movies, especially among the kids. It is the story of a reindeer searching for its home. Special features like the nose of the reindeer that glows, misfit toys and Abominable Snowman have fascinated kids and adults alike down the ages.
2. It’s a Wonderful Life is a classic Christmas movie with a moral. It is the story of a financially burdened man who tries to commit suicide during the Christmas holidays. But, before that, he meets an angel who shows him how miserable his children would be without him. Hence he decides to live for his children. The moral lesson behind the movie is very touching.
3. The Year Without a Santa Claus is a funny Christmas movie where Santa Claus falls sick and decides not to go out for Christmas. He is also sad that children do not believe in him anymore. To bring Santa back to spirits, 2 elves go out to search for kids who care about Santa. This movie has a subtle innocence that touches every heart.
Few of the other world famous Christmas movies are as follows:
3. Miracle on 34th Street
4. A Charlie Brown Christmas
5. Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town
6. How the Grinch Stole Christmas
7. A Christmas Story
8. Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town
some of the cartoon movies are:-
Frosty The Snowman
Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer
Jack Frost
How The Grinch Stole Christmas (cartoon)
The Life and Adventures of Santa Clause
Miracle on 34th Street
It’s A Wonderful Life
Love Actually
Santa Clause Is Coming To Town
The Muppet Christmas Carol
Home Alone Movies
The Little Drummer Boy

Christmas vacation is a must and also christmas story
If you’re looking for something different, and you don’t mind a little satirical violence with your holiday, you should check out http://www.vendettachristmas.com/videos.html
I just watched the family man! Not directly related to Christmas buy still a good holiday movie/good story.
hihihihi u people should watch princess dires 2 its good and funny
You might want to try watching:
a)Christmas Clause
You should watch it because it’s very funny and it’s a great family movie. It’s about a woman that makes a wish that will completly change her life. Little did she know, that wish didn’t turn out to be exactly like she expected and she soon regrets ever making it.
b)A Christmas Carol
What can I say about this movie. Its a Christmas carol!!!! If you have never heard of one then I’ll tell you what I know… its about a VERY nasty man. But don’t worry, sooner or later he gets his just desserts. Three ghosts will come and help him realize whats really important.
c)A Looney-toons Christmas
(SAME AS ABOVE)
d)Annabelles Wish
I love this movie because its all about never giving up on your dreams. Its about a calf that always dreams of becoming a reindeer and flying Santas sliegh. And in the end- why don’t you just watch the movie and find out what happens, yourself!
and
e)Santa Paws
This movie is all about friendship and keeping faith. when Santa and his Christmas present Paws, get seperated, they go on a neverending journey to find each other.
I think that the books become one with the stories. So I speak as John Grisham and will say that this is true but the only story that will be told true will be that of one true story. All of u must be told this, it will come down soon so beware.
One nobody has mentioned is JACK FROST!! It is one of my all time favorites. I have no idea how that was left off but I hope everyone watches it!
Silent Night
Edwards Scissorhands is an awesome Christmas movie and so is Elf..
