Floto Leather Venezia Leather Duffle Leather Luggage

These Floto pieces are investments. The highest quality pieces. Buttery soft, THICK leather. Hand pieced, hand sewen with impeccable finish and fit. Seams that are smooth and perfect. The interiors are lined with fine striped canvas that after three years are still resisting dirt and stains from shoes etc. This Venezia bag is the perfect weekender carry on size and looks gorgeous and stylish no matter where you are going. With every use, the leather wears better and gets softer and is gaining that lovely old world patina that only high end very well made luggage earns. These are indeed very expensive, but they have been worth every penny. I’ve been investing in a different piece purchased directly from Floto each year and have not been disappointed yet.

I bought this bag a while back because I needed a good carry-on that would last me a long time. This bag is superb. I notice that as it gets used more, the leather gets softer and more defined, and it holds up to everything you can throw at it! It’s been rained on, dropped out of cargo holds, stuffed into trunks, overhead bins, and a lot of other places but it keeps going. The bag always gets compliments and people always ask me where I got it! It is a bit expensive, but you have to consider that this will probably last twenty years or more if you take care of your luggage. How much have YOU spent over the last few years on cheap luggage?

I am thoroughly pleased with my Floto Venezia duffle. The quality of workmanship and good looks of these bags are second to none. I figured I would be getting a mediocre to good duffle at best because I know how expensive leather can be. But when it arrived I was very pleased at the richness of color and intoxicating aroma of the Italian leather. That aroma is almost like the interior of a new Ferrari:<) The brass hardware is premium quality, very sturdy and tightly attached to the bag. The zipper is smooth working and also of solid brass. The interior has a heavy canvas lining and is cleanly sewn into the leather. I also appreciate the handy, zippered interior pocket for razors, shampoo, etc. Floto cut no corners in producing these bags. A prime example of Italian excellence in leather manufacturing and fashion.

Great duffle! Well made! Very obvious from the stitching, to the softness of the leather, even down to its smell. Great workmanship. I’ve taken it on a couple of business trips. A 2-day and a 4-day. It did the job well on both. Between this and the Grande, I’m glad I went with this. If I were being too picky about the product, the only thing on my “shoul’da” list is that Floto should consider changing the zippers. For the quality of the piece, the plastic zippers seem flimsy. I wish floto uses brass zippers to match the rest of the hardware – I woudn’t mind paying extra for them. I replaced my Luis Vuitton Keepall wih this piece, and I guess I was more used to the metal zippers than I thought. Apart from that, the bag is awesome! So pleased with my purchase.
